Black beans – 2 Cans
Carrots – Minced 2
Garlic – Minced 3 cloves
Rinsed and drained 1 onion
Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
Chili Powder – 1/2 tablespoon
Cayenne Pepper Salt – 1/4 tablespoon
Cumin – 1 tablespoon
Coriander – 1/2 tablespoon
Shredded 1/2 cup quick oats
Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon
Pepper to taste
Heat olive oil in a pan and mix garlic, salt, pepper, and onions and cook until onions are pink.
Add cumin, coriander, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and carrots and cook until carrots turn tender. Remove pan from heat.
In a separate bowl, mash the beans and add the contents of the pan along with the soy sauce and quick oats.
Form four patties from the mixture and place them in the freezer for half-an-hour.
Cook patties over medium heat and place them along with the veggies between the slices of the burger.
