1. Thar (Netflix)

Set in the 1980s in Pushkar, a veteran cop sees the chance to prove himself when murder shakes up a sleepy desert town, sending him into the seedy underbelly of the town as he attempts to uncover a grisly torture plot. Real life father and son Anil and Harshvardhan Kapoor share the screen as a cop hungry for validation and an antihero thirsty for violent revenge. The film also stars Fatima Sana Sheikh.
2. Jhund (Zee5)
Release Date: May 6 | Genre: Biopic, Sports
The Big B starrer sports drama, helmed by Nagraj Manjule, is set to premiere digitally in the first week of May. Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, ‘Jhund’ (with a 9/10 IMDB rating) also features Akash Thosar, Rinku Rajguru (of Sairat fame) and Ankush Gedam in pivotal roles.
3. The Takedown (Netflix)

Forced to reteam after a decade, two mismatched cops investigate a murder in a divided French town, where a wider conspiracy looms. The comedy series stars Omar Sy, Laurent Lafitte, Izïa Higelin, and others in the lead roles.
4. The Wilds Season 2 (Amazon Prime Video)

While the first season was about the lives of a group of high school students who get stranded on an island after a plane crash, the second introduces more test subjects who also have to fight for survival.
5. Home Shanti (Disney+Hotstar)

Directed by Aakanksha Dua and created by Posham Pa Pictures, this slice-of-life drama stars Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa and debutants Chakori Dwivedi and Poojan Chhabra as the new generation of Joshis. The relatable family drama series revolves around a Dehradun-based, middle-class couple with two kids, who have a long-harboured dream of owning a house and aspire to build their home in cooperation with their children.
6. Man of the Match (Amazon Prime)

A filmmaker (Nataraj S Bhat) has thrown open auditions for his upcoming film. He gives the auditioning artists an imaginary situation to stop the marriage of a rich boy and a poor girl. As the artists clash with one another on various ways to stop the wedding from happening, they are reeled for an underlying analysis of current social conflicts. The satirical comedy also throws light on the endless war between the truth and the deceit.
7. Christina P: Mom Genes (Netflix)

Christina P is back and better than ever in her new Netflix comedy special Mom Genes. No detail is too intimate as Christina hilariously shares the trials and tribulations of motherhood, marriage, and everything in between.
