Once again humanity failed an Indian daughter as a father allegedly raped his own physically challenged daughter in Tripura.
As per News18, this shocking incident happened in Tripura. It is heartbreaking to know that a father allegedly raped his physically-challenged daughter on Saturday.
The officer-in-charge of Kadamtala police station, Krishnadhan Sarkar shared that the incident took place in Lalcherra village in North Tripura district on Tuesday. It happened when the victim’s mother was not at home.
He further told PTI over the phone:
“The girl narrated the incident to her mother upon her return to their home. The woman lodged an FIR against her husband on Friday, based on which the accused was arrested.”
A case under POCSO Act has been registered against the accused, he added.
As authorities have initiated the investigation, we are heartbroken how a father could abuse his own daughter.
The increasing number of rape cases show how our social DNA has degraded.
A man without morals is like a wild beast who will destroy everyone to please his own pleasures. It doesn’t matter to a beast whether she is a 40-year-old woman or a 4-year-old girl or whether she is physically challenged.
This incident will definitely leave you sad and disturbed with one question: Why has humanity lost its moral fabric and stooped down so low to rape his own physically challenged daughter?
