One more shocking incident of child abuse has come to light!
And this time, it has happened with a three and a half-year-old girl in a daycare center in Hyderabad.
Shockingly the little girl was allegedly assaulted by two women helpers at a daycare center in Hyderabad.
Though the incident that reportedly happened on April 10, it came to light on Sunday.
As reported by NDTV, the parents of kid claimed that stones and sticks were inserted in her private parts. Venkateswara Rao, a senior officer of the local police shared:
“It was alleged that the ayahs (who were taking care of the children) had inserted a stone in the private parts of the child.
The child was sent for medical examination.”
Her parents, who work in IT hub on the outskirts of the city are software engineers by profession. They took their child to a private hospital after she started having nightmares. Later, bloodstains were also seen on her clothes. She was then shifted to a public hospital.
As per the reports, police have identified the accused but they are absconding.
A case has also been registered under the strict Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Though the girl has been treated and discharged from the hospital, we are heartbroken by the increasing number of cases of child abuse coming to light.
And, what is horrifying is the increasing number of child abuse cases happening at school premises. Its high time strict rules are enforced to ensure child safety in schools.
