They say even if the whole world stands against you, the one person who will always have your back is your Mother.
Though it is true for most of us, still there are some unfortunate ones who stay deprived of selfless motherly love.
And, one such kid is the 3-year-old innocent girl whose mother preferred a week-long party with her friends rather than feeding her.
So What Happened?
As per the story published by Daily Mail,
Maria Plenkina, 21, left her child alone as she marked her third birthday in the Russian city of Kirov.
When the grandmother of 3-YO, Irina Plenkina, 47, arrived with a birthday present, she was shocked to find her grand-daughter in a miserable state.
She immediately called the ambulance and police but the girl was pronounced dead.
What the Russian Investigative Committee revealed about this incident is really heartbreaking:
In reality, Maria had not only locked the door on her daughter but also turned off the water so she could not even drink water.
A committee spokeswoman further added the :
‘The girl’s mother said that she deliberately closed the door of the apartment and left the house.’
She was ‘having a good time with friends’ and was ‘on a spree’.
The mother was ‘not there for a week – from February 13 to February 20’.
She doesn’t even cry and shows no regret.
She just says in cold blood: “Yes, I left, I closed off the water and left the child without water and food.”‘
As per sources, the mother stood inside the iron cage of a Russian court and spoke quietly, calmly, without emotional breakdowns.
But, How Can A Mother Be So Cruel?
Though Maria had been in touch with her mother on social media, she always told her that she and the girl were ‘fine’. Being saddened, confused, and angered by her own daughter’s act, The mother of the accused further added:
“She lied to me that everything was fine. She lied to everyone. I never thought that Maria could do such a thing. If only I had spotted something was wrong, I would have taken the girl to me.
There was never any sign of previous abuse. I completely did not know my daughter it turns out”
The mother has been detained for two months and is under investigation for the”‘murder of a child using extreme cruelty”.
But, one can’t stop thinking about the nightmare that 3-YO lived through! How she would have taken her last breath without any food and water?
