In a heartbreaking incident, a class 9th student was allegedly repeatedly raped for 6 months by seven people in Bhiwani, Haryana. The 16-year-old girl was later found two-months pregnant.
The accused allegedly threatened to murder the victim and warned her against narrating her ordeal to anyone. The victim carried the burden of her misery and suffering all alone. The incident came to light when the teenager’s father approached the police and lodged a complaint. The girl was sent for a medical check-up and a report of the same is still awaited.
6-Month Long Trauma
The girl was first raped by a man whom she used to buy grocery items from. Post which, the man’s associates started sexually assaulting the girl. The victim was allegedly raped by 7 men for six months.Â
Victim Is 2-month pregnant
When recently the girl complained of abdomen pain, she was taken to hospital by her family members. As per Hindustan Times, a medical examination of the teenager revealed that she was two-months pregnant.
While sharing the horrific details, the girl’s father said:
“The accused had threatened to kill my daughter if she shared her ordeal with anyone. They raped her several times and the matter came to the fore when she became pregnant.”
Accused booked under IPC and POCSO Act
As per recent sources, the girl’s father has lodged a complaint with the police and the accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
It is heart-breaking how this young schoolgirl and her family have to bear the immense pain because of some sex-deprived monsters. Even the stringent laws are not stopping these monsters from making our kids victim to their greed. As a parent, it is a living nightmare to see your kid bearing the pain of such an inhumane act. The increasing crimes against children make us wonder if our kids will ever feel safe again!
