The Bottom Line
It is a very serious charge. And, we couldn’t even imagine the pain of this 25-year-old and many other women who have been victims of this alleged racket. Despite the laws getting stricter, it is heartbreaking how our country struggles to be a safe place for women. While the crimes against women are still rampant, it is heartbreaking how threats make many victims suffer in silence.
As this woman and many other victims of this racket have suffered for almost a decade, we hope the authorities would provide her justice without any further delay. At IFORHER, we are in awe of the courage of this victim, who despite facing threats gathered the courage to stand for her dignity and rights. We are so proud of her!
