If you are a parent yourself, you would know losing a child is every parent’s worst nightmare.
No one can understand what parents’ hearts go through when they lose their child. And, what makes it tougher is the fight against the system to seek justice for your kid.
Recently, a heart-wrenching video surfaced that showed how our Police failed a wailing mother, who just lost her 19-year-old son in a factory accident.
In the video, you can see a mother crying helplessly for seeking justice for her dead son in front of a Khaki Babu. She stood with the folded hands requesting an inspector to file an FIR.
In the quest to seek justice for her dead son, she even touched the feet of the police officer, SHO Gudamba Tej Prakash Singh.

After the video went viral on social media, SSP Lucknow Kalanidhi Naithani looked into the matter and SHO Singh was sent to lines.
Feeling the pain in mother’s request and disgusted by the lack of respect shown to the mourning mother, SSP shared with TOI that:
“Though the SHO later lodged an FIR on charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against the owners of the plywood factory, the action was taken because he did not give due respect to the woman complainant. IPS officer Abhishek Verma will conduct a probe”
A 19-year-old youth, Akash Yadav, who was employed at a plywood factory was crushed to death on Friday. He lost his life after getting entangled in the wood drying machine. After losing her son, the grieving mother desperately wanted to seek justice.
But hardly she knew that the police would refuse to see the pain and grief of a wailing mother.
When she went to Gudamba police station to lodge a complaint, SHO refused to pay any heed. Hence, she couldn’t stop herself from crying, pleading with folded hands and touching his feet.
Many people took to Twitter to show their agony against the inhumane attitude of the police officer.
desh mein corruption itna ke ravan bana bhagwan, lekin 26 January ko sari janta kehti hain mera desh mahaan. i wish i was an IAS/IPS, would get these people straightened out. Shame on India.

After watching the video, the only question you ask is:
How someone could be so cold-hearted to a mother who just lost her son?
