In a new low, a horrific rape incident has been reported from the Jaipur hospital in Rajasthan. As per the sources, the incident happened in Shalby Hospital in Jaipur on Monday night.
As per the reports, the victim underwent the surgery in the hospital, post which, she was shifted to ICU. But rather a healthy recovery she became a victim of a sex-deprived monster. As per the sources, the accused ward boy repeatedly molested the woman patient in ICU.
As reported by Times Now, the victim had a mask and her hands were tied. While sharing the heart-breaking details of the incident, Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar stated how after the incident, women kept crying the whole night. Even when she tried to inform a nurse about the incident, she was threatened and silenced by the accused.
In the morning, when the victim’s husband came to meet her, the victim narrated her ordeal to him. Sharing the details, her husband mentioned that the woman was taken to Shalby hospital after she fell ill. After her operation, the woman’s husband was told by hospital staff that he can’t stay with the patient. So, he had to return home. But, when he came back to the hospital in the morning, his helpless wife narrated her ordeal in writing as she wasn’t able to speak.
The police have initiated the investigation after the husband filed the case with the police. Sharing the details DCP Pradeep Mohan Sharma mentioned:
“This incident is very serious. The woman’s husband filed a case at Chitrakoot police station. The police have initiated the probe to identify the accused by taking into custody the duty roster and CCTV footage. The accused lives on Agra Road. We have arrested the accused and are questioning him.”
As per the report Mr. Pannala, the investigation officer, mentioned:
“So far, our probe has revealed that there were two rooms in the ICU. While a female nurse was attending to patients in one room, the male nurse was attending to patients in another room. And it was this time that the accused molested the woman. We have nabbed the accused. We are looking at CCTV to look for the involvement of other people in the incident. The accused has been identified as Khushiram Gujjar, a resident of Nadoti tehsil in Karoli district.”
This incident is another ugly reminder of how unsafe we are in our own country. Be it school, office, hospital or public places, or homes – women are not safe anywhere. It breaks our heart to see how our men have stooped so low that they have started making hospital patients also their victims.
As we pray for strength for the victim and her family, we hope authorities would deliver speedy justice along with a strong message to these sex-deprived monsters. We need to stop this before more monsters unleash themselves on our women, kids, and babies!
