1. OMG 2

OMG 2 is an eagerly awaited satirical comedy-drama Hindi film, written and directed by Amit Rai. Serving as a spiritual sequel to the popular movie “OMG – Oh My God!”, it features a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, Arun Govil, and Aamir Naik. The film cleverly delves into the Indian education system, presenting a humorous and thought-provoking narrative. The movie will hit the theatres on 16th August. 2. Gadar 2

After 23 years, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, the successful romantic drama, is returning with a sequel. Starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, this movie will also feature Utkarsh Sharma as Jeete. The movie is jointly produced by Zee Studios and Anil Sharma Productions. The movie is expected to release on 16th August 2023.

3. The Kerala Story

While there were reports that The Kerala Story was struggling to get an OTT partner, as per new reports finally The Kerala Story will be streamed on Zee5 soon, most probably in the month of July or August.  Despite the mixed reactions and controversies, “The Kerala Story” has collected a whopping amount at the box office surpassing many superstars loaded movies. For the unversed, the movie follows the journey of Adah Sharma, who plays a Hindu woman from Kerala abducted and brainwashed into converting to Islam and joining the ISIS Terrorist Organization in Syria. 4. Satyaprem Ki Kaatha

Multiple reports state that Satyaprem Ki Katha will release on the OTT platform in the month of August. With “Satyaprem Ki Katha” continuing its triumphant streak, it is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video in August, following its successful theatrical run.

5. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke

The recently released romantic comedy film ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bach Ke’, directed by Laxman Utekar, features Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles. The movie managed to earn much more than the expectations at the box office. The movie revolves around a young couple from Indore, who decides to get divorced to be eligible to buy a home under a government scheme. But things don’t go as planned, and they have a fallout. 6. Dream Girl 2

Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2 is an upcoming comedy-drama film directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 film Dream Girl. The movie is expected to hit the theatres on 25th August 2023.
