5. The Whale

- Plot: This Friday, The Whale, a psychological drama by director Darren Aronofsky with Brendan Fraser and Sadie Sink, was released in Indian theatres. The film, which had its world premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival last year, centres around an obese English teacher who seeks to mend fences with his teenage daughter. At numerous important events, The Whale has already received numerous awards.

6. Infiesto

- Plot: The genre-defying Spanish thriller dives into the lives of two detectives who are sent to a small village in the Asturian lowlands after the reappearance of a strange woman who had been missing for years sparks a crisis. 7. Prizefighter: The Life Of Jem Belcher

- Plot: As implied by the title, the film centres on Jem Belcher, the Champion of England and a bare-knuckle prize winner. Prizefighter: The Life of Jem Belcher provides insight into the development of contemporary boxing and how Belcher led the way. Key parts in the film are played by Russell Crowe, Ray Winstone, Jodhi May, Marton Csokas, and Matt Hookings.

11. Michael

- Plot: A teenage criminal who is determined to rule all the gangs in the area is the focus of the high-octane action drama Michael. But when he falls in love, his preparations are wrecked. The film, written and directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi, is set in the 1990s and has an ensemble cast comprising Vijay Sethupathi, Sundeep Kishan, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.

12. Almost Pyar With DJ Mohabbat

- Plot: The two love stories that form the basis of the plot of Anurag Kashyap’s newest film, Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat, are connected by DJ Mohabbat’s music. While Vicky Kaushal reprises his character from the 2018 film Manmarziyaan, Alaya F and rookie Karan Mehta play the key roles in Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat.

13. Dear Edward

- Plot: Based on the novel by American author Ann Napolitano, the film Dear Edward tells the story of a 12-year-old child who escapes a fatal plane disaster that claimed the lives of 191 people, including his family. In the heart-warming film that attempts to portray the narrative from the child’s point of view, observe him develop unexpected friendships with other people touched by the plane disaster.

14. Faraaz

- Movie Plot: Based on the real-life terrorist attack that ravaged a Dhaka cafe, Faraaz is a tense hostage drama that unfolds over one claustrophobic night. Aditya Rawal, son of the veteran actor Paresh Rawal, is playing the role of the terrorist Nibras in Hansal Mehta’s flick.
