1. Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi – Netflix
Based on the real-life, this docuseries is based on the serial killer Chandrakant Jha. These murders happened between 1998 and 2007. This docuseries goes deeper into the life of the Chandrakant, who was first arrested in 1998 for a murder. But after spending 4 years in Jail, he was released due to lack of evidence. Post his release, he went on a murder spree and would leave dismembered body parts across the city. He was finally caught and convicted in 2007, imprisoned for life, and died in jail in 2013.
2. The Gray Man – Netflix
With a long star cast of Ryan Gosling, Dhanush, Chris Evans, and Ana de Armas – The Gray Man was released on Netflix this weekend. It is being said that this is the most expensive Netflix movie till date. When a CIA operative discovers dark secrets about the agency, one of his colleagues puts a bounty on the agent’s head. What follows is a great global manhunt.
3. F3: Fun and Frustration – Netflix
Sequel to the 2019 movie F2, this movie stars Tamannaah, Pooja Hegde, and Venkatesh Daggubati among others. The movie was released in theatres on May 27, and is now available on Netflix.

4. Anything’s Possible – Amazon Prime Video
This is one of the few movies this year that have lived up to the hype. A teenage love and comical drama, Anything’s Possible hits all the right notes. Showing a relationship between a cis boy and a trans girl, the movie delves into a complex topic – but handles it amazingly well.
5. Blown Away Season 3 – Netflix
The Netflix reality competition series has returned for third season with an even greater prize money than before. The show has professional glass-blowers creating sculptures during the competition, and trying to outdo each other.
6. Dr Arora – Gupt Rog Visheshagya – SonyLIV
Imtiaz Ali’s latest has Kumud Mishra in the lead role as a sexologist. The 8-episode series has the first episode releasing on 22-July. While he solves his patients’ problems, Dr Arora has to fight his own demons during the process.
7. IN THE SOOP – Friendcation – Disney+ Hotstar
Revolving around BTS singer V, Park Seo-joon, Park Hyung-sik, Choi Woo-shik and Peakboy, the show’s first episode was released on 22-July. The travel variety show promises a great watch for the K-pop fans.
8. Ghar Waapsi – Disney+ Hotstar
The six-episode series about a family of five is definitely going to make you feel nostalgia. The show starts with Shekhar returning back to his family in Indore, from Bangalore. While Shekhar struggles to find a job, the show delves into the lives of 5 family members and how their coming together creates an emotional ride.
9. JugJugg Jeeyo – Amazon Prime Video
Releast in Jun 2022 in theatres, this comedy-drama film has dropped on Prime video this weekend. With a star cast of Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani, the movie is a light-hearted take on the complexities of marriage.
