1. Delhi Crime S2 – Netflix, 26th August 2022
Inspired by real events, this series is a mix of real & fictional storylines. The Season-2 of Delhi Crime released on August 26, and is already receiving great reviews. With a powerful star cast of Shefali Shah, Rasika Duggal, Adil Hussain, the show enjoys an enviable IMDb rating of 8.5.
2. Criminal Justice S3 – Disney+Hotstar, 26th August 2022
The lovable lawyer Madhav Mishra is back with the third season of Criminal Justice. Watching the first episode, it seems this one is going to be as gripping as the earlier seasons. The season seems to be focusing on juvenile justice and is definitely going to be a must watch.
3. HIT: The First Case – Netflix, 28th August 2022
The movie released in theatres on 15th July, and stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. A thriller movies focusing on the story of a cop trying to solve the case of a missing woman, is a remake of the 2020 Telugu movie with the same name.
4. Maharani 2 – SonyLIV (25th August, 2022)
Political drama Maharani’s Season 2 released this week. Starring Huma Qureshi in the lead role, this political show is inspired by the Bihar of 90s when Mrs. Rabri Devi was made CM with no experience or background.
5. Me Time – Netflix (26th August, 2022)
What happens when a stay-at-home father gets few days of “Me Time” as his wife and kids go away for the weekend? Crazy weekend partying with his old friend, with a dense flavour of madness. It’s a fun riot you can’t miss this weekend.
6. Chintaa Mani – Disney+ Hotstar (27th August, 2022)
In this movie, the friends find a stone that tells the future. But what do they do? Try to change it! Would they be able to succeed or would they make everything worse for themselves? Watch it to find out. Starring Sudhanshu, Shobhit Sujay, Abhishek Sonpaliya and Akhlaq Ahmad Azad, the film is available on Disney+ Hotstar.
7. Kuruthi Aattam – Aha (26th August, 2022)
This Tamil action-thriller film was released in theatres on 5th August, and has hit OTT in just 21 days. Starring Atharvaa as Sakthivel, Priya Bhavani Shankar as Vennila, and Radha Ravi as Durai; the movie received mixed-reviews at the time of release.
