1. Kissi Ka Bhai Kissi Ki Jaan
After hitting the theatres, Salman Khan’s movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is ready to be released on Zee5 very soon. The movie was expected to release on May 26 but was later postponed. However, given the usual 8-week delay between theatrical and OTT releases, many media reports claim it to release by June. Along with Salman Khan, the movie stars Pooja Hedge, Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, and Palak Tiwari.Â
The film revolves around younger brothers who are determined to find a partner for their older sibling, who has yet to tie the knot. Their search leads them to Bhagyalaxmi, whom they believe is the perfect match. However, there’s a catch – she’s a pacifist, and their older brother is known as “Bhai,” the protector. The story follows the journey of how Bhai, the guardian of his family, transforms into Bhagyalaxmi’s “Jaan” (beloved) despite their differences in personality and beliefs. Though the movie received mixed reviews, it is one of the most highly anticipated OTT releases of the coming months.
2. The Kerala Story
The very controversial blockbuster ‘The Kerala Story’ will be released on Zee5 in the month of June. Despite the mixed reactions and controversies, “The Kerala Story” has collected a whopping amount at the box office surpassing many superstars loaded movies. For the unversed, the movie follows the journey of Adah Sharma, who plays a Hindu woman from Kerala abducted and brainwashed into converting to Islam and joining the ISIS Terrorist Organization in Syria.
3. Bloody Daddy
Jio Studio and Shahid Kapoor have tantalized their fans with a preview of their upcoming direct-to-digital film, Bloody Daddy. The gory teaser gives viewers a glimpse of the action-packed and blood-soaked film, which is set to debut on June 9th, 2023. The one-minute, fifteen-second clip features Shahid wielding a variety of weapons, including knives, guns, clubs, and even a raw mutton leg, all while dressed in a black suit and an open-collared shirt. The teaser promises plenty of “drugs, cops, family, and lots and lots of blood.”
4. PS-2
Maverick director Mani Ratnam’s recent film, Ponniyin Selvan-2, starring Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi in the lead roles, was released in April 2023 and turned out to be a box office hit.  And, recently, makers left the audience very excited as the movie made its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video. The movie is only available for rental now. Viewers need to pay a sum of Rs. 399 to watch the epic period action drama on the OTT platform. However, we believe that the movie will soon be streaming on the platform. Whether it’s Drishyam or Bholaa or PS -1, Prime Video followed the same strategy. The movies were initially made available for rent, and then within 2-3 weeks, they were streamed on the platform. And, with that logic, we believe PS-2 will be streaming on Amazon Prime in June.
5. Avatar: The Way Of WaterÂ
Avatar: The Way of Water is the long-awaited sequel to the 2009 blockbuster hit “Avatar”. Directed by James Cameron, the film promises to take fans on another epic adventure to the world of Pandora. The story is set several years after the events of the first film, with Jake Sully (played by Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (played by Zoe Saldana) leading their clan in a new era of exploration and discovery. The film will make its digital debut on Disney+ Hotstar on June 7.Â
