Recently, the internet lost its cool when a Twitter user shared a screenshot of Arijit Singer’s concert ticket price. Arijit Singh is all set for his India tour and what left us shocked is the exorbitant ticket prices. Arijit’s Pune concert tickets start from Rs 999 and go up to Rs 16,00,000! Yes, you read that right! 16 Lakhs Rupees!
The whole location has been divided into different zones. The cheapest zone is Bronze, which is the standing area and tickets cost Rs 999. And, then there are: ‘Silver’ (standing area, Rs 1999), ‘Gold’ (seating area, Rs 4999), ‘Platinum Left’ and ‘Platinum Right’ (both seating, Rs 6999), ‘Diamond Left’ and ‘Diamond Right’ (both seating, Rs 8999).
Then there is PL or ‘Premium Lounge’ which has 4 sections: PL 1 – PL 4. These tickets start from Rs 10 lakhs and include “unlimited food” and “premium liquor”. The price for PL 1 tickets is Rs 16,00,000 each.

After a while, a Twitter user clarified that 16L is for 40 people. “Not a glitch, that’s a premium lounge and not for one-person entry. Premium lounges offer a lot more services than general admission. 16L for 40people.”
