The reason why an unidentified woman living in the Gulf approached the court for divorce is quite shocking. She mentioned she wants a divorce because her husband is too kind and loving!
According to News18, a wife in the UAE has moved to the Shariah court in Fujairah to file a divorce. What will shock you would be her reason? As per the sources, the woman claimed that in one year of married life, she hasn’t had a single argument with her husband. Her life is akin to “hell” because he is too kind.
She was quoted saying,
“He never yelled at me or turned me down. I was choked by extreme love and affection. He even helped me clean the house. I long for one day of dispute, but this seems impossible with my romantic husband who always forgave me and showered me with gifts. I need a real discussion, even an argument, not this hassle-free life of obedience.”
As per the various sources, the husband is at complete loss of words. He is still wondering what he did wrong. He requested the matter to be adjourned. He also stated that when his wife complained about his weight gain, his consequent exercise regimen resulted in a fracture. Khaleej Times quoted him saying,
“I wish to be a perfect and kind husband. It’s not fair to judge a marriage from the first year, and everybody learns from their mistakes.”
