You must have heard your dad saying it multiple times –
“Ek Insaan Kisi Ko Apne Se Aage Nikaltey Dekh Khush Nahin Hota, Lekin Agar Woh Uska Baccha Ho Toh Uski Khushi Ka Thikana Nahin Hota”
And, you can see that happiness in the eyes of A R Umamaheswara Sarma.
He is a proud father, who has been blessed with an opportunity to observe his daughter’s success first hand.
Sarma is currently posted as DCP in Malkajgiri area in Hyderabad. He has been serving with the police for over 30 years now. And just 4 years back, his daughter Sindhu joined the police force.
She is posted as the SP of Jagtiyal district of Telangana at a position senior to that of her father.
[ifh_news_form]In one of the proudest moments of his life:
When he came face to face with her daughter at a public meeting and without giving a thought, he saluted his officer bitiya.
We can only imagine what a heart-warming moment that would have been for Sarma. As a parent, we spend our whole lives making sure that we do our level best to make our kids capable of achieving success.
Talking to IANS, the proud father said:
“This is the first time we have come together while doing our duties. I am fortunate to work with her. She is my senior officer. When I see her, I salute her. We do our respective duties and don’t discuss this, but at home we are just like any father and daughter.”
Nothing in this world can be more special for parents than to see their children achieving great heights of success.
Sarma and his daughter are real-life examples of what a Beti can do if her dreams are supported by a loving and caring father. In a country, where fathers kill daughters in wombs, A R Umamaheswara Sarma is a ray of hope.
And we salute him!
