Things take an even darker turn when incriminating evidence is discovered in Vadim’s car. He is arrested, leaving Alma convinced that Oscar has deliberately set him up.
Alma refuses to simply accept what has happened. She believes Vadim is being framed and tries to convince her father that Oscar is the real threat. But the situation is no longer just about Alma and Vadim’s relationship. Her family now sees Vadim and everything surrounding him as a danger to Alma’s future and to their own world.
Vadim eventually gets out on bail, but his legal troubles are far from over. He also cannot simply leave the country and start over somewhere else.
What Deal Does Alma’s Father Offer Her?

Alma’s father has the influence and resources to help Vadim avoid an outcome that could destroy his future. But his help comes with a condition: Alma has to walk away from Vadim.

Do Alma And Vadim End Up Together?
Not by the time the movie ends.
You+Me – Against the World does not give Alma and Vadim the conventional romantic ending where they reunite and everything that separated them is suddenly resolved.
They remain apart.
But the film very deliberately avoids closing the door on their relationship.
