From medics to airport staff members to sanitation officers, many have ensured to leave no stone unturned in saving lives. Though these heroes might be leading the battle from front, there are many who have found an alternate way to help.

Many celebrities and NGOs have come forward to donate funds to help the needy amid the lockdown. Recently, Sudha Murthy committed Rs 100 crore to fight Coronavirus through Infosys Foundation.

And, now, a 7-year-old boy from Mizoram, Rommel Lalmuansanga has broken his piggy bank to donate his entire savings to help feed the poor, who are struggling to find food amid the lockdown.

His tiny plastic bag contained an amount of ₹333 in coins and currency notes. Though the amount may be small, during these testing times what matters the most is the desire to make a difference.

Even Chief Minister Zoramthanga applauded his kind and generous gesture and hailed him as a ‘hero’. Take a look:
