In a heartbreaking incident, a 70-year-old woman was not only beaten but also abandoned by her son to live on the streets with no food and roof over her head.
After being abandoned by her son, Leelavati Kedarnath Dubey waited at a railway station in Mumbai for a train to Delhi. After her son threw her out of the house, she wanted to go to Delhi – the city where her other son lives. But, what’s even more heartbreaking is that his son refused to her in his house either.
All she wants is to return to Delhi, even if it means begging to survive for the rest of her life.
But things changed for this 70-year-old when a woman tagged Sonu Sood to the video showing her heart-wrenching story. Within no time, the actor who has been actively reuniting migrant workers with their families, responded with assurance to help her.
