Being a mother is tough but it really takes a brave heart to be an Army-Mom!
It is not for faint-hearted to watch your piece of heart marching into the battlefield knowing that he might never come back.
But, what is disappointing and heartbreaking is the fact that many of us tend to forget the sacrifice of these brave men and their family. Some of us tend to forget why these young men chose to sacrifice their lives and leave their old parents, wife and young kids all alone. The people who forget our soldiers’ bravery and spread hate among its countrymen.
In a similar incident, when a Bureaucrat-turned-politician and chief of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM) Shah Faesal took to Twitter to spread hate and divide people, one army mom, who lost her son recently, decided not to stay quiet.
Meghana Girish, the mother of Major Akshay Girish Kumar, who was martyred in Nagrota on November 30, 2016, refused to let people sabotage the national value her son died for.
Her tweet is the best lesson for people like Shah Faesal, who are spreading the instigating message to disillusion the youth.
On his 36th birthday, when Shah Faesal posted a message by playing the card of victimhood, his motive was only to instigate Kashmiri youth against the country.
His post mentioned that he would be celebrating his 36th birthday and it is something that most Kashmiri youths do not get to see.
But, he never realized how much hurt his distasteful message would cause to a mother, who also lost her young boy serving the nation so that its citizens could stay safe.
Meghana requested Faesal to contribute towards spreading peace and patriotism, if he can, while reminding him that her son was way younger when he lost his life.
Her tweet read,
“My son was way younger than you and many of our soldiers much younger than him. They gave their lives to protect our citizens in J&K. Contribute to spreading peace and patriotism if you can. Happy birthday. Stay blessed.”
This post is definitely a great reminder of how Indian soldiers sacrifice their lives for maintaining peace and love.
