The Rani Mukerji-starrer “Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway” depicts the story of a distressed mother who loses custody of her two children, as the Norwegian government deems their upbringing unsuitable. Despite average box office earnings, the film is now set to premiere on an OTT platform.
Based on the true account of an Indian couple whose children were taken away by the Norwegian daycare system, the movie draws inspiration from the mother’s autobiography, titled “The Journey of a Mother.” The movie created a lot of buzz and now the highly anticipated movie is finally available for streaming on Netflix.
Netflix announced the release of the movie with the caption,“A fearless mother, her unwavering love for her children and a relentless fight. Watch Rani Mukerji take on the world in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, now streaming on Netflix.”
