Famous Indian actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away as he took his last breath on Thursday early morning. He suffered a massive heart attack on the way to the hospital.

His colleague and close friend. Anupam Kher confirmed the news on Twitter. Later he spoke to PTI and shared, “He felt uneasy and he told the driver to take him to the hospital and on the way, he suffered a heart attack,”

“I know “death is the ultimate truth of this world!” But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!” he tweeted.

The news of his death has left Bollywood in shock. Many celebs and fans took to social media to mourn his demise on social media now.

Satish Kaushik – Indian actor, comedian, screenwriter, director, and producer – was born on April 13, 1965, in Haryana. Before getting his big break in Bollywood, he acted in theatres.

Satish Kaushik will always be remembered for his outstanding performances – be it Calendar in the 1987 superhero film, Mr. India, or Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana (1997). Satish Kaushik also played the role of Chanu Ahmed in the British film Brick Lane (2007), which Sarah Gavron directed. Satish Kaushik also won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award in 1990 for Ram Lakhan and in 1997 for Saajan Chale Sasural.

Satish Kaushik is survived by his wife and daughter. We hope his family will get the strength to bear this pain and his soul will rest in peace!
