‘You Made Vulgar Hate Story’, Internet Slams Vivek Agnihotri For Criticizing SRK’s Besharam Rang

The Kashmir files maker Vivek Agnihotri took a dig at Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathan’s song – Besharam Rang. He took to social media to share a video of a girl saying that provocative content in movies promotes rape culture in India. She also further adds how the provocative content is against the values of Indian culture.

Vivek Agnihotri shared the video along with the clip of Pathaan’s Besharam Rang and the caption”WARNING:#PnV video against Bollywood. Don’t watch it if you are a Secular.”

And, as soon as he shared this video, many netizens came forward to slam Vivek Agnihotri for his hypocrisy.

While many netizens took to social media to remind him that he has directed an erotic movie called Hate Story, there were some who shared his old video where he said that erotica is the best art form. 

In his old video, which netizens extensively shared over the internet, Vivek Agnihotri says: “You’re not a complete artist if you haven’t done erotic art.” He further adds, “I think the most beautiful thing in this world, for a filmmaker or a photographer, is to shoot two naked bodies together making love… Because you are taught differently, your parents and school taught you differently doesn’t mean that I also have to look at it like that.”
