However, amidst the celebrations of its success and appreciation for its storytelling, some have raised concerns about the movie’s shortcomings. One of the most startling revelations that sent shockwaves through the internet is the suggestion that the storyline of ‘Jawan’ may have been ‘borrowed’ from an older Tamil film.

Recently, a Twitter user shared a meme claiming that SRK’s ‘Jawan’ is reminiscent of Ajith Kumar’s ‘Arrambam,’ stating, “Hence Proved that #Jawan is the copy of #AjithKumar’s #Arrambam. #VidaaMuyarchi.”

Another user commented, “Bro, it’s old wine in a new bottle; the aging of wine matters, I guess the audience likes anything that is a cocktail if the bartender is good at mixing it.”

This revelation left many fans disappointed, but several fans came to the defense of director Atlee, with one fan asking, “But are you saying that director Atlee is the only one who succeeds by incorporating scenes from other films into his own?”

It’s worth noting that ‘Jawan’ is not the first blockbuster to face criticism for allegedly borrowing scenes from other films. Even SS Rajamoulli’s superhit ‘Bahubali’ faced similar scrutiny for drawing inspiration from various sources. You can read it here.
