Katrina Kaif’s Phone Bhoot Makes Fun Of Ranbir & Alia’s Brahmastra & Internet Is Enjoying It

After Sooryavanshi’s successful stint at the box office, Katrina Kaif returns to the big screen with the horror comedy Phone Bhoot co-starring Ishaan Khatter & Siddhant Chaturvedi. The movie has opened to mixed reviews and many have shared how the movie is filled with meta-humor.

Interestingly, what left many excited is the Phone Bhoot sequence where the cast trolled Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt’s recent blockbuster Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva.

For the unversed, Brahmastra was brutally trolled for having Amitabh Bachchan aka Guruji’s secret hideout location on google maps. Also, Ranbir’s character Shiva was trolled for talking about Alia’s character Isha being his AgnyAstra’s button.

Now, a user took to social media to share how Phone Bhoot features jokes on the same lines. He took to social media and wrote, “Not the cast of #PhoneBhoot going to a secret hidout of the antagonist and saying: ‘AATMARAM KI JAGAH KO KAISE DHOONDE, YEH TOH GOOGLE MAPS PE BHI NAHI HAI’ or capturing his weapon and saying: ‘ASTRA HAI TOH BUTTON TOH HOGA’”.

Netizens are in love with how Phone Bhoot’s meta humor targeted Brahmastra. Many also labeled it as Katrina’s perfect revenge as Ranbir & Alia apparently mocked her by dancing to Chikni Chameli from Agneepath in a scene in Brahmastra.

“This is called an indirect friendly roast of an ex-boyfriend. Giving a reference to his movie. Wow Katrina.”, a netizen wrote. Another user wrote, “He did that too with chikni chameli in bramhastra”.

Though Phone Bhoot was shot in advance, many feel that the makers dubbed these sections after the release of Brahmastra.

Another user tweeted, “I heard this movie has a lot of references spoof type so not surprised. Surprised that they went back and added in a already shot movie. Waise bhi rk alia danced on chikni chameli in brahmastra. Settled”.

Here are some of the responses:

While Phone Bhoot backed by Farhan Akhtar & Ritesh Sidhwani hit the theatres, Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, the Ayan Mukerji directorial is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
