The film stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead, with Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. Satyadev joins the cast, adding depth to the high-voltage drama. Together, they set the stage for a story that promised fireworks but struggled to keep the spark alive till the end.
Kingdom Box Office Review
Opening weekend? Spectacular. Sustaining that momentum? Not so much. While Kingdom made a strong start both in India and overseas (especially the US), the second half’s storytelling dip left audiences less than thrilled.
With a hefty budget of ₹130 crores, the film struggled at the box office, managing to recover only about 39% of its costs (so far). As per the Koimoi reports, it earned ₹50.68 crores net in India, with a gross of ₹59.80 crores, while overseas collections added another ₹20 crores. This brought the worldwide gross to ₹74.20 crores, falling far short of its production budget.
Kingdom OTT Release Date: When & Where to Watch
Netflix has reportedly bagged the streaming rights for Kingdom. With its theatrical run wrapped up and collections drying faster than a summer pond, the film is now headed for an early digital release. If Deccan Chronicle reports are correct, Kingdom will premiere on August 28 on Netflix, right in time for Vinayaka Chaturthi festivities.
