Lalit Modi’s Tweet Of Dating Sushmita Sen Sent Internet In Shock; Netizens Are Coping With Memes

Recently, Lalit Modi took to social media to announce his relationship with Sushmita Sen. With his series of tweets about his relationship with Sushmita Sen sent the internet in shock. In his first tweet, he mentioned: “Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families – not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning, a new life finally. Over the moon,” Modi wrote along with the photographs with Sen. 

His tweet made many assume that they are married or getting married. But, in his next tweet, he clarified that the couple is only dating for now. He wrote, “Just for clarity. Not married – just dating each other. That too, it will happen one day,” he wrote. But, finally, he changed his first tweet with a minor change of replacing some words. 

For the unversed, Lalit Modi was the founder and the first chairman of the Indian premier league (IPL), which started in 2008. He changed the landscape of cricket before the controversies hit him. After a thorough investigation, BCCI found Modi guilty of misconduct, indiscipline, and financial irregularities. BCCI banned him for life in 2013 and since then he lived out of London, United Kingdom. A special court in Mumbai had also issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Lalit Modi in 2015 for his alleged involvement in a money-laundering case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
