While a few shows already have confirmed premiere dates, others are currently filming, being written or expected to arrive sometime in 2026 or 2027. So, here are 10 of the most-awaited shows returning with new seasons and the latest update on when we could get to watch them.

1. Panchayat Season 5
Where To Watch: Prime Video | Expected Release: 2026
Phulera is calling us back once again! Panchayat Season 5 has been officially confirmed, with Prime Video including the much-loved show in its 2026 lineup. Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and other familiar faces are expected to return for another chapter of village politics, friendships and wonderfully relatable everyday chaos.
Prime Video hasn’t announced an exact premiere date yet, although the new season is expected to arrive sometime in 2026. After everything that happened in the previous chapter, we can’t wait to see what lies ahead for Abhishek and the residents of Phulera.
2. The Family Man Season 4

Srikant Tiwari isn’t done saving the country while trying to keep his family life together. The Family Man Season 4 is moving ahead, with creators Raj & DK working on the next chapter of the hugely popular spy thriller.
The new season is still at an earlier stage, with writing underway, and Prime Video hasn’t announced an official release date yet. Considering where production currently stands, a release sometime in 2027 appears more likely. Whenever it arrives, we are definitely ready to see Manoj Bajpayee return as Srikant Tiwari.
3. Criminal Justice Season 5

Madhav Mishra could soon have another complicated case on his hands. Criminal Justice Season 5 is expected to bring Pankaj Tripathi back as the clever and wonderfully unconventional lawyer who has become the heart of the franchise.
There is no official premiere date yet, although several reports have suggested that the fifth season could arrive sometime in 2026. The next chapter is expected to revolve around another new courtroom case, giving Madhav Mishra a fresh mystery to untangle. Our fingers are crossed for an official release announcement soon.
4. Mismatched Season 4

Dimple and Rishi are returning one last time. Netflix has officially confirmed Mismatched Season 4, which will also be the final chapter of the popular romantic drama starring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf.
Filming on the final season has been underway, although Netflix hasn’t announced an exact premiere date yet. The season is expected to arrive in 2026. After following Dimple and Rishi through friendships, career dreams, breakups and complicated relationships, we are definitely curious to see how their story finally ends.
5. Dupahiya Season 2

Dhadakpur is getting ready for another round of chaos. Prime Video has officially announced Dupahiya Season 2 and included it among its upcoming 2026 shows.
Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Sparsh Shrivastava, Shivani Raghuvanshi and other familiar faces are expected to return. Prime Video has also marked the season as coming soon, although an exact streaming date hasn’t been revealed yet. After the stolen-bike madness of the first season, we are excited to find out what new trouble arrives in Dhadakpur this time.
6. Farzi Season 2
Where To Watch: Prime Video | Expected Release: Most likely 2027
Sunny is preparing to return to the dangerous world of Farzi. Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi will be back for another chapter of Raj & DK’s hugely popular crime thriller.
There has been some uncertainty around the release window. Prime Video included Farzi Season 2 in its announced lineup, but Shahid Kapoor later indicated that the new season would most likely arrive in 2027. Production has been progressing, but an official premiere date hasn’t been announced yet.
After the first season left Sunny and Michael’s battle far from finished, Season 2 remains one of the Indian OTT sequels we are most excited about.
7. Reacher Season 4
Where To Watch: Prime Video | Release Date: August 12, 2026
Jack Reacher is ready for another dangerous mission. Reacher Season 4 is scheduled to premiere on August 12, 2026, making it one of the major returning Prime Video shows arriving soon.
Alan Ritchson returns as the former military investigator, while the new season draws from Lee Child’s novel Gone Tomorrow. The story begins with a disturbing encounter aboard a New York City subway train that sends Reacher into another dangerous mystery.
And there’s more good news for fans — the show has already been renewed beyond Season 4.
8. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3

Middle-earth is calling us back. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3 is expected to return on November 11, 2026, bringing another massive chapter of Prime Video’s fantasy epic.
The story will continue as Sauron’s power grows and Middle-earth moves towards an increasingly dangerous period. With alliances changing, kingdoms under pressure and major conflicts still ahead, there is plenty waiting to unfold when the fantasy series returns.
9. Maxton Hall Season 3

Ruby and James are coming back for another emotional chapter. Maxton Hall Season 3 is expected to arrive in December 2026, bringing Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung back as the show’s much-loved central couple.
The third season will take their complicated relationship forward after everything they have already been through at Maxton Hall. And with the series moving closer to the conclusion of Mona Kasten’s bestselling story, emotions are likely to run even higher this time.

10. Off Campus Season 2

After becoming one of the most-loved new shows of 2026, Off Campus is officially returning for Season 2. In fact, Prime Video had so much confidence in the college romance drama that the series was renewed even before its first season premiered.
The first season introduced viewers to Briar University and followed Hannah Wells and hockey star Garrett Graham’s romance. With another season already moving ahead, fans can now look forward to returning to the world of friendships, relationships, college drama and hockey.
Prime Video hasn’t announced an official premiere date yet, but with work on the new season progressing, 2027 currently looks like the most likely release year. After the love that Season 1 received, this is one comeback we’ll definitely be watching closely.
From returning Indian favourites like Panchayat, The Family Man and Farzi to global hits like Reacher, Maxton Hall and Off Campus, there are plenty of exciting new seasons on the way.
