The show is available on Amazon Prime, and it was created by a talented team including Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar, Alankrita Srivastava, Neeraj Ghaywan, Anil Lakhwani, and Rahul Nair. It offers a very immersive experience that was definitely worth waiting for.
The story of the show focuses on big Indian weddings, and it tells a very interesting and confident story that keeps your attention from the beginning to the end.
One wedding in the show that stands out is a Buddhist wedding, and many people find it very touching. Episode 5, titled ‘The Heart Skipped a Beat,’ is the most loved by fans.
In this episode, Radhika Apte plays a Dalit bride who chooses to have a Buddhist wedding instead of the usual pheras ceremony and court marriage. She even has pictures of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Buddha at the wedding. This part of the show is really special to a lot of people.
