‘Award For 7 Min Role?’ Netizens Troll Alia Bhatt For Getting Hollywood Award For RRR

SS Rajamouli’s RRR has definitely created a lot of buzz among the global audience. Many critics as well as fans have showered so much love and appreciation on the movie. From “Naatu Naatu” winning the Golden Globe award to an Oscar nomination to winning five awards at the Hollywood Critics Association event, RRR has definitely shown the world what Indians are capable of!

For the unversed, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR has played the main leads while Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn have played much smaller roles.

Alia Bhatt, who has done far better roles in her acting career, was seen in just a couple of scenes in RRR. And, that’s the reason why when a magazine called “RRR” as Alia Bhatt’s movie, it left many angry. And, now people are not happy as she got the spotlight award for “RRR” at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards.

Hollywood Critics Association Award Announcement Left Netizens Angry

Given the minuscule role of Alia Bhatt, many netizens were annoyed by the news of her winning an award. Many people took to social media to ask whether the association is giving an award for a cameo as well. Many slammed the association for awarding Alia Bhatt but not English actress Olivia Morris who played the equally prominent role of Jenny in the film.
