1. Family Aaj Kal

Step into the bustling streets of Delhi with “Family Aaj Kal.” This emotional rollercoaster of a show explores the ups and downs of family life. Starring Apoorva Arora, Sonali Sachdev, and others, it’s produced by Anushka Shah and hits Sony LIV on April 3rd. Get ready for drama, laughter, and heartfelt moments!

2. Farrey

Salman Khan launched his niece Alizeh Agnihotri with Farrey. Farrey is a slang word used by students for small chits of paper bearing answers, that they sneak into exam halls. The film is directed by Soumendra Padhi, who also made the acclaimed Netflix series Jamtra.  The movie stars Alizeh Agnihotri in a pivotal role alongside Ronit Roy, Sahil Mehta, Zeyn Shaw, Prasanna Bisht and Shipka Shukla. It is an official remake of the 2017 Thai movie ‘Bad Genius’. 

3. Parasyte- The Grey

This Korean sci-fi horror film is based on the original manga “Parasyte” by Hitoshi Iwaaki. The plot explores. a young woman caught between her humanity and parasitic influence. When unidentified parasites violently take over human hosts and gain power, humanity must rise to combat the growing threat.

4. Yeh Meri Family S3

Set in the spring of 1995, the third season of Yeh Meri Family takes place in a simpler era. The five-episode series from The Viral Fever looks at parents Neerja (Juhi Parmar) and Sanjay (Rajesh Kumar) as they raise their two children Rishi (Anngad Raaj) and Ritika (Hetal Gada). Like most Indian families, several generations live under one roof and that it is this mix that brings out the best of the Awasthi’s. The series is directed by Rahib Siddiqui. 

5. Ripley

This series dives into the dark and intricate life of Tom Ripley (Andrew Scott), a grifter in 1960s New York. Hired by a wealthy man, Ripley’s task to persuade a carefree son to return home from Italy quickly spirals into a complex web of deceit, fraud and murder. The series is an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s novels and navigates through Ripley’s manipulations and the elite social circle he infiltrates. It stars Dakota Fanning and Johnny Flynn in pivotal roles. 

6. Scoop

Scoop is a 2024 political thriller, and a biopic is directed by Philip Martin explores the shady past and present of prince Andrew in what looks like a revelation or expose theory. A group of journalists confront the duke of New York prince Andrew and asks uncomfortable questions about Andrew’s closeness with illegal traffickers. The film shows a Brillant insider insight by BBC towards crime in today’s world. The film focuses on the power of journalism and exposes the importance of truth in the world of today’s crime.  The film features Rufus Sewell, Keeley Hawes, Romola Garai in important roles. 

7. Family Star

Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda’s Family Star is set to release on April 5th, 2024. It is an upcoming Telugu film starring actors Vijay Deveragonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The film marks their first collaboration onscreen and is directed by filmmaker Parasuram, who has previously directed Geetha Govindam, starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna. Family Star is expected to be a family drama. Vijay plays the role of a middle-class working man who is very close to his family and falls in love with a rich girl played by Mrunal Thakur. There are strong speculations that Rashmika Mandanna will be making a guest appearance in the film. 

8. JNU: Jahangir National University

Jahangir national University is a 2024 Hindi movie directed by Vinay Sharma and features Urvashi Rautela, Siddharth Bodke, Piyush Mishra and Ravi Kishan as lead characters. The title is a blatant wordplay on Jawaharlal Nehru University. JNU depicts the story of a small towner Sourabh Sharma who is now a student of JNU. There he gets restless with the activities of left-wing activists who are anti-national and raises their voice against them and wins the election with the help of his friend to oppose the activities of left-wing group. 

9. Lambasingi

Experience “Lambasingi” on Disney+ Hotstar this week! It’s about a young cop in a village, torn between duty and love. With Kittayya, Bharath Raj, and Vamsi Raj, get ready for mystery, romance, and scenic countryside views.

10. Dukaan
