Vibe OTT Release Date: Kunal Kemmu is back with another dose of laughter and madness! After making his directorial debut with Madgaon Express, the actor-filmmaker returned with Vibe, a spy comedy featuring Preity Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava and Vanshika Dhir. Released in cinemas on September 18, 2026, the film follows two unlikely heroes who become caught up in a dangerous national security mission. Now, movie lovers who missed its theatrical run are wondering when Vibe will arrive on OTT.
The good news is that Vibe has reportedly secured its streaming destination. But when can audiences watch it from home? Here’s everything we know about its OTT release, expected streaming date, cast and storyline.
Vibe OTT Release Date: When and Where to Watch Kunal Kemmu and Preity Zinta’s Spy Comedy?
What Is Vibe About?
Imagine struggling to sort out your own life and suddenly being expected to save an entire country. That’s the ridiculous situation at the heart of Vibe.
The story revolves around Hardik (Kunal Kemmu), a carefree troublemaker trying to rebuild his life after rehab, and his responsible best friend Bugs (Sparsh Shrivastava), a software engineer who prefers following rules to taking risks.
When Bugs helps Hardik find work in Mumbai, things initially seem to be moving in the right direction. Hardik even finds himself attracted to Kareena (Vanshika Dhir), a young woman working at the same office.
Unfortunately, his new romantic interest comes with a complication he never anticipated. Kareena has a connection to a wanted terrorist, and Hardik’s growing involvement with her attracts the attention of Indian intelligence officials.
Enter Madam H (Preity Zinta), a mysterious intelligence operative who pulls Hardik and Bugs into an operation to prevent a potential terror attack.
With neither man remotely qualified to become a secret agent, their mission quickly turns into a chaotic mix of danger, terrible decisions and unexpected comedy.
Vibe Cast: Who Stars in the Movie?
Alongside directing and writing the film, Kunal Kemmu plays the central character, Hardik. Sparsh Shrivastava portrays his loyal but frequently overwhelmed friend Bugs, while Preity Zinta takes on the role of an intelligence officer.
The film also features Vanshika Dhir as Kareena, along with Dinesh Lal Yadav, Yashpal Sharma and other supporting actors.
Interestingly, Hardik’s character also connects Vibe to Madgaon Express. Kemmu had briefly appeared as a quirky character in his earlier film, and Vibe expands on that character’s world.
Vibe OTT Release: When and Where to Watch?
Vibe is expected to stream on Amazon Prime Video following its theatrical release. The platform was reportedly identified as the film’s streaming partner in its opening credits.
While the streaming platform has been reported, an official OTT premiere date has not yet been announced. Based on the usual six-to-eight-week gap between a film’s theatrical and digital releases, Vibe could make its streaming debut sometime between October 30 and November 13, 2026.
However, this remains an estimated window rather than a confirmed release schedule. Viewers will need to watch for an official announcement from Prime Video or the filmmakers.
Vibe Trailer
The trailer offers a glimpse of the film’s unusual combination of friendship, romance, espionage and slapstick humour.
Is Vibe Worth Watching?
If you enjoyed the unpredictable humour and eccentric characters of Madgaon Express, Vibe might deserve a place on your watchlist.
Rather than presenting highly trained spies carrying out a flawless operation, the film builds its comedy around two ordinary men who are spectacularly unprepared for the responsibility placed on them.
The film has reportedly received mixed reviews, with some critics appreciating its playful approach to the spy genre and Kemmu’s comic performance.
For viewers who prefer comedies packed with misunderstandings, unlikely friendships and over-the-top situations, Vibe could be a lighthearted alternative to conventional espionage thrillers.

For now, Vibe’s OTT release date remains unconfirmed, but Amazon Prime Video is its reported streaming destination, with a possible premiere between late October and mid-November 2026.
