1. Governor: The Silent Saviour (Prime Video)
Manoj Bajpayee plays RBI Governor A. Ramanan in this Hindi financial thriller set during India’s serious 1990-1991 balance-of-payments crisis. Loosely inspired by former RBI Governor S. Venkitaramanan, the story follows Ramanan as he faces enormous pressure while trying to protect the country from financial collapse.
2. Lenin (Zee 5)
Akhil Akkineni plays Lenin, an orphan raised by powerful village leader Jayyamma in the fictional Sriramapuram. His life becomes increasingly dangerous when romance, village politics, family loyalties and old rivalries collide, pulling him into a much bigger conflict. Set from the 1970s onward, this Telugu rural action drama also stars Bhagyashri Borse.
3. Ted Lasso Season 4 (Apple TV)
Ted Lasso returns with a fresh challenge as the ever-positive coach takes charge of Richmond’s second-division women’s football team. Rebecca, Keeley, Roy Kent, Coach Beard and Higgins are also back as Ted tries to bring a new group together while finding his own way forward. The new season brings back the humour, emotion and uplifting spirit that made the series so popular.
4. My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 (Netflix)
Jackie’s romantic troubles become even more complicated after Alex hears her and Cole confess their feelings for each other. As Alex turns his attention to rodeo, Cole explores racing and Jackie works on creating a community space in Silver Falls, someone from her former life in New York suddenly arrives. Jackie must now deal with unresolved feelings while deciding where her future truly belongs.
5. Main Vaapas Aaunga (Netflix)
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, this emotional romance connects love and separation with memories of India’s Partition. An elderly man’s recollection of the person he left behind in what is now Pakistan inspires a journey into a deeply personal past spanning generations. Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina and Sharvari lead the film.
6. Our Sticky Love (Netflix)
Prosecutor Go Eun-sae loses her memory while chasing a dangerous crime syndicate and wakes up in a countryside village with no idea how she got there. Boxing coach Jang Tae-ha claims that he is her boyfriend, while hiding the fact that the two already share a complicated past. Their unusual living arrangement slowly turns his protective lie into an unexpected romance.
7. The Last House (Netflix)
Riley, Jason and their children wake up one day to discover that their home has been completely sealed, leaving them with no possible way to escape. As days become weeks and months, their supplies begin disappearing while no explanation for their strange imprisonment appears. Greta Lee and Wagner Moura lead this unsettling sci-fi horror thriller where survival slowly begins testing both the family’s relationships and their sanity.
8. Operation Safed Sagar (Netflix)
Inspired by the Indian Air Force’s role in the 1999 Kargil War, this military drama follows young fighter pilots from the Golden Arrows Squadron as they prepare for an extremely difficult high-altitude operation. Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill and Abhay Verma lead a story about soldiers confronting danger while carrying the emotional burden of duty and war. Courage, sacrifice and the human cost of conflict remain at the centre of the series.
9. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (JioHotstar)
Mario and Luigi leave familiar territory behind and head into space for another colourful adventure. After Bowser’s defeat, Bowser Jr. tries to rescue his father and sets a dangerous plan involving Princess Rosalina and a powerful cosmic force in motion. Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and their friends must travel across the galaxy to stop him before his plan succeeds.
