Why Was Ghooskhor Pandat Renamed Gajab Raat?
Before being renamed Gajab Raat, the film was titled Ghooskhor Pandat. However, the original name sparked criticism, with objections raised over its alleged association of the Brahmin community with corruption.
A petition was filed in the Delhi High Court seeking to stop the film’s release. During the proceedings, Netflix informed the court that the producers had decided to change the title in response to the concerns raised.
Following this assurance, the petitioner said his grievance had been addressed, and the court disposed of the matter. The film has now moved forward with its new title, Gajab Raat.
