No one could deny that a bad ending to a movie can spoil anyone’s mood. After all, it is quite irritating to sit for 2-3 hours only to realize how stupidly or senselessly the movie ended! We are specifically talking about films that ruined the engaging plot with an illogical and dumb ending. So, here are the popular Bollywood movies that had the most nonsensical endings:

Bollywood Movies With Worst Endings

1. Mohabbatein

Yash Raj Films

After a heated argument with Raj (Shahrukh Khan), Narayan Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan) realizes how his students couldn’t handle his rules of pratishta, parampara and anushasan. So, he resigns and appoints Sharukh Khan, who is an amateur music teacher, as the PRINCIPAL! This sounds like a joke! We all know what will happen with Raj, the lover boy, taking charge of the boarding school as principal! What a ridiculous climax!

2. Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani

Dharma Productions

Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor), one of the confused characters, runs after Naina (Deepika Padukone) just because he is jealous to see her with someone else! It is quite irritating how after leaving Naina for the second time in his career, Bunny shows the audacity to come to her home with a balloon and a cake like nothing happened.

But, what leaves us even more disgusted is how Naina rather than slamming the door on Bunny’s face, accepts this man-child! Naina deserved someone better! What a cringe-worthy ending!

3. Kabir Singh

While this movie had multiple problems, starting with the lead character Kabir Singh, who is abusive and misogynist! But what makes the movie even worse is the climax.

T-Series

On one fine day, Kabir finds a pregnant Preeti in a park and learns that it is his child. The couple get married and live happily ever after. But, did Kabir Singh deserve a second chance? How this toxic man suddenly appears and how Preeti gets ready to go back to him in a split second is an idiotic ending!

4. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

While the whole film was a problematic Bollywood romance, the ending just left us disappointed! Why would Anjali go back to the bad person like Rahul and ditch a caring and understanding man like Aman?

5. Paa

The ending was a senseless symbolism! When couples get married, they take pheras around the fire; And, when people die they are cremated in the fire! So, why not take pheras around to-be pyre? Auro’s parents getting married around his deathbed is quite insensitive and senseless!

6. Cocktail

Eros International

Another movie based on Bollywood’s stereotype of choosing Parvati over Poo! The movie’s ending is about sundar susheel sanskaari ladki getting happily married to the boy, who cheated on her best friend, while un-sanskaari remains alone!

The better ending would have been if Veronica & Meera could have patched up and left Gautam, the lying and sexist man alone!

7. Animal

Now we all know that Ranbir Kapoor’s movie has certainly left many disappointed. Despite its significant box-office success, the film had numerous loopholes. However, the most glaring flaw that every rational viewer noticed was the absence of law enforcement. Where were the police? Where were the law enforcement forces? While the movie suffered from issues with scriptwriting, unnecessary plots, and horrible dialogues, the critical aspect overlooked by the filmmakers was the absence of police and our legal system.

The anti-hero is portrayed as a hero without facing any consequences for his actions throughout the movie. Many hoped that the police would eventually appear, albeit late, but no such luck. The anti-hero goes unpunished for his endless killings in broad daylight, not only resulting in a disappointing ending but also raising questions about the film’s credibility as a whole. Many people took to social to share their disappointment as well in this regard:
