From Dulquer To Prithviraj: South Indian Actors Come In Support Of Shah Rukh Khan As He Faces Life Threats

In the recent times,  boycott calls have become a trend. From boycotting brands to movies, we have seen it all. But, with Pathaan, things have taken an ugly turn. Recently, makers of Pathaan released a song – ‘Besharam Rang’, which led to massive criticism and boycott calls. Many took to social media to ban Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone-starrer Pathaan.

Amidst of boycott calls, now Ayodhya seer Paramhans Acharya has crossed all the limits. He has openly threatened to kill Shah Rukh Khan. As per the sources, he has threatened to burn Shah Rukh Khan alive.  In the video, he could be heart saying: “Today we burnt his posters. Pathhan movie has insulted the saffron colour. If I find jihadi Shah Rukh Khan anywhere, I will burn him alive,” 

Additionaly, the priest of Hanuman Garhi Mahant Raju Das has also appealed the people to burn down the theatres where Pathaan will be released.  In a video message, the mahant can be heard saying, “I appeal to people to set those theatres on fire where Pathaan will be screened”. He also added, “Bollywood and Hollywood constantly try to find ways to make fun of Sanatan Dharma and insult Hindu Gods and Goddesses. In the Pathaan movie, Deepika Padukone wore a bikini which hurt the religious sentiments of saints and of the entire country. Shahrukh Khan constantly makes fun of Sanatan Dharma. What was the need to wear a saffron bikini and perform such steps in the song?,”

In the midst of so much negativity, many south movie actors have come forward to support Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. From Prithviraj Sukumaran to Dulquer Salmaan to Prakash Raj, many have extended their support to the movie.

Here’s how Prakash Raj has come in support of Shah Rukh Khan & Deepika Padukone:

In the interview, Dulquer Salmaan said, “We are all waiting for Shah Rukh sir’s next big release (Pathaan). With every update, we are all excited about the film.” Here’s the clip:

Prithviraj also came forward in the support of the Pathan.

As per media reports, the actor has responded to controversies over Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathaan’ film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.  He said that it is sad that an art form is being subjected to such harsh criticism and views. While discussing success of Bollywood vs. South Films, he also came forward to support the industry.
