Times are changing and so are our women and their expectations from their life, marriage and society. In 21st century, when women are no less than men, it is heartbreaking how our society and especially, the institution of marriage fails to recognize the equality of genders. No wonder the younger generation of women are not only scared of marriage, but also recognize it as a broken system. There are so many women who refuse to walk down the aisle to get married.
Contrary to society’s popular belief about marriage, there are many women who are choosing to stay single! They are neither scared of judgments, nor they care about what their family and friends have to say!
Recently, we spoke to 12 such women who shared why they never want to get married. Their strong views are just a reminder to the society to stop forcing women to get married, as marriage is not mandatory and must be a matter of choice!
Dear society, Please stop forcing your daughters into marriage. Marriage is a matter of choice, not a mandatory condition. Please remember single daughter is better than a frustrated and disappointed wife!
