Recently, businessman and husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, was arrested. He was taken into custody on Monday by the Mumbai police in a case related to the alleged creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps.
After booking him under various sections of the IPC and IT Act, the Mumbai Police arrested Raj Kundra. As per the initial investigation, the businessman appears to be the key conspirator of the case.
Nine people have been arrested so far. The police have clarified that investigations have revealed no active role of Shilpa Shetty.
While there was no evidence of Shilpa Shetty’s active participation nor police summoned her, but many came forward to blame and troll her. In our patriarchal society, it is heartbreaking how many don’t miss a chance to blame a woman for her husband’s action.
While the case is yet to unfold, netizens are trolling Shilpa Shetty brutally. Many have urged TV channels and show producers to ban Shilpa Shetty from judging on the shows.

This isn’t the first time that women have been blamed for men’s action. Doesn’t matter whether it is Virat Kohli’s bad performance or a man raping a woman, our society doesn’t leave a chance to blame women!
