‘Connect Us To India’: Ram Charan Carrying Small Temple With Him To Oscars Leaves Internet Impressed

While many applauded the RRR crew for such a historic win, there were many who loved how the team promoted Indian culture on a global stage. RRR crew ditched gowns and suits and wore dhotis and sarees at the Red Carpet.

Recently, Ram Charan’s interview with Vanity Fair surfaced online that touched millions of hearts. In the video, RRR actor Ram Charan shared his religious side. In the video titled ‘RRR Star Ram Charan Gets Ready For Oscars’, Ram Charan gave a glimpse of what happened on the day before RRR made history at the Oscars.

In this video, Ram Charan shared how he always takes a little portable temple with statues of his deities whenever he is traveling. 

In the video uploaded on social media, Ram Charan said, “Wherever I go, my wife and I set up a small temple; it keeps us connected to our energies and to India,”

The video also captures a glimpse of Ram Charan and his wife Upasana offering prayers to idols of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman.

As the video surfaced online, many fans took to social media to applaud Ram Charan’s dedication.

This isn’t the first time, Ram Charan has shown his religious side to his fans. In the past as well, Ram Charan’s religious side has won over the Internet. In the past, he has also spoken about taking Ayyappa Deeksha, or vows, once a year. During this, he wears only black, travel barefoot, and doesn’t eat anything except vegetarian food. He follows this ritual for 40 days.
