New OTT Releases This Week (September 28 – October 4)
1. Pooja Meri Jaan (ZEE5 | October 2)
Pooja finds herself facing a serious legal case after a man whose feelings she rejected dies by suicide and she is accused of pushing him towards it. Lawyer Sana agrees to defend her even though she has a personal connection with the deceased. The case soon becomes an emotional battle between loss, justice and professional responsibility.
2. Chumbak Part 2 (Netflix | October 1)
Life in Chumbak Colony gets even messier as eight new episodes bring fresh misunderstandings, strained friendships and neighbours once again becoming deeply involved in each other’s problems. With the entire community caught in another round of chaos, Rajni and Kuku step in to help bring everyone together. Neena Gupta, Deven Bhojani and the ensemble cast return for more family comedy, warmth and neighbourhood madness.
3. #Love (Netflix | October 2)
Dating-app founders Tara and Matthew have completely different ideas about what makes relationships work. To prove whether compatibility or natural chemistry matters more, they agree to date each other for 60 days. Their experiment becomes complicated when real emotions refuse to follow the theories they created.
4. The Arena (Netflix | September 30)
Thirty-eight amateur fighters enter a demanding MMA competition guided by stars Ciryl Gane, Cédric Doumbè and Benoît Saint Denis. They must survive tough physical tests and cage fights while competing for €100,000. The winner also gets an opportunity to earn a professional MMA contract.
5. Medusa Season 2 (Netflix | September 30)
Bárbara Hidalgo survived an attempt to kill her and discovered who was plotting against her, but keeping control of the powerful Hidalgo family is another challenge. A new danger emerging from within the family puts her position at risk once again. Season 2 brings another fight filled with betrayal, secrets and a struggle for power.
6. Main Ladega (JioHotstar | September 30)
A young man trying to escape the violence he witnessed at home finds a new direction after moving into an army hostel and discovering boxing. The sport gives him a way to turn years of anger into focus and discipline. As he works towards a national championship, he also hopes to protect his mother and finally stand up to his abusive father.
7. Dupahiya Season 2 (Prime Video | October 1)
Life in Dhadakpur becomes chaotic again when Banwari’s land is chosen for a mobile tower and villagers start connecting every new problem to it. While Bhugol enjoys sudden internet fame and Roshni studies for her SSC exams, Inspector Mithlesh begins suspecting that something more serious is happening. Season 2 returns with fresh confusion, village rumours and a possible scam.
8. Bethlehem Kudumba Unit (JioHotstar | October 2)
Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju lead this Malayalam romantic comedy about two people whose unexpected age-gap romance quickly attracts attention. Their growing relationship becomes the centre of gossip and confusion in a tightly connected community. With neighbours closely involved in everyone’s lives, keeping love private proves almost impossible.
9. East of Eden (Netflix | October 1)
Florence Pugh stars in this new adaptation of John Steinbeck’s story about the Trask and Hamilton families living in California’s Salinas Valley.
