Wrong Casting, Bad VFX: Netizens Disappointed With 600 Crore Adipurush Trailer

After facing major backlash for the teaser, the makers have released the Adipurush trailer today. And we must say, it is quite an improvement from the film teaser, which was heavily criticized for bad VFX and Saif Ali Khan’s look as Lankesh. After wowing audiences with the blockbuster Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Om Raut is back with another visual spectacle – Adipurush. This time, he’s taking on the Ramayana in his latest venture. Now, we all remember the teaser that was released earlier, and let’s just say it didn’t exactly leave the audience impressed. But fortunately, the new trailer made an honest attempt to right all the wrongs! But did it leave the internet impressed? Not exactly.

Adipurush Trailer: Did It Impress The Audience?

The 3-minute-long trailer takes us on a wild journey through the Ramayana, with Prabhas playing the role of Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, and Saif Ali Khan portraying the fierce Lankesh. This trailer created a lot of buzz over the internet. While we have to admit that the VFX is looking way more believable this time around, there are still some things that left netizens disappointed.

Pros: the base, BGM, visuals.

Cons: Casting. All the 4 (Prabhash as Ram, Sunny as Laxman, Kriti as Sita, Hanuman are unconvincing and bland). Saif is fine. Vfx is still bad.

#AdipurushTrailer the only good thing in the trailer is color grading.
Dialogue delivery is so bad! It sounds so fake, no conviction at all.

Watched the trailer of Adipurush movie. My assessment
1. BGM is excellent.
2. VFX is average.
3. Star cast is so out of the place & literal disappointment seeing Prabhash as Bhagwan Shri Ram, unknown actor as Shri Hanuman Ji. Kriti Sanon no way near Sita maa.
4. No Grandeur.

I think the casting is just too wrong. Prabhas doesn’t suit as Ram at all. Plus Saif’s over aggressive vibe is so not Ravan’s character. And don’t get me started on Sita and Hanuman.
