10 New Movies & Shows Releasing in September
1. The Revolutionaries (Prime Video, September 11)
Four young Indians decide to fight British rule even though rebellion could cost them everything. Inspired by Sanjeev Sanyal’s book, the historical series follows their courage, sacrifices and determination to challenge a powerful empire. Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta and Gurfateh Pirzada lead the Nikkhil Advani-directed drama.
2. Chumbak (Netflix, September 10)
Five families sharing a Mumbai row-house slowly become a family of their own as they celebrate, argue, eat and face life’s difficult moments together. A young author and an unusual support group connect these everyday stories of friendship and belonging. The series promises a warm look at relationships formed beyond blood ties.
3. Slow Horses Season 6 (Apple TV, September 16)
Jackson Lamb and the rejected MI5 agents of Slough House once again find themselves handling an intelligence mission where one wrong move could have serious consequences. After surviving kidnappings, conspiracies and betrayals in earlier seasons, the team must prove that being pushed aside by MI5 has not made them any less capable. Gary Oldman returns as Lamb for another dangerous chapter.
4. Shaque: Trust No One (Netflix, September 24)
A marriage begins breaking down when a husband’s jealousy turns into constant doubt about his wife. 10. Ghamasaan (ZEE5, September 11)
STF officer Aditya begins hunting feared dacoit Maharaj across the dangerous landscape of Bundelkhand. The manhunt gradually reveals corruption and power struggles that make the case much bigger than one criminal. The political crime thriller turns their pursuit into a tense battle involving influence, survival and control.
