The Cast:

Merry Christmas is a 2024 Indian mystery thriller film directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Ramesh Taurani. The crime thriller drama movie features Vijay Sethupathi as (Albert) and Katrina Kaif as (Maria) in the lead roles, along with Ashwini Kalsekar (Scarlett), Luke Kenny (Jerome), Sanjay Kapoor (Kavin Jay Babu), and Vinay Pathak ( Shanmugarajan) and others in supporting roles. This film marks the first collaboration of Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi on the big screen. 

Movie Plot:

The movie “Merry Christmas” kicks off in the lively city of Mumbai on Christmas Eve, filled with festive cheer. The atmosphere is magical, and the spirit of Christmas adds to the euphoria. Amid the celebration, we’re introduced to Albert (played by Vijay Sethupathi), an architect who has been away in Dubai for seven long years.

As Albert returns home, he encounters Maria (played by Katrina Kaif) unconventionally. Their initial interaction isn’t a typical romantic encounter; instead, Albert notices Maria with a little girl holding a teddy bear. Their paths cross again inside a theater, leading to a series of events that bring Albert to Maria’s old-fashioned apartment. Any more information will ruin the magic this movie has to offer.
