Lockdown is taking a toll on our emotional health. While many are complaining about mental health issues, there has been a rise in domestic violence cases. Many couples are facing extreme stress in their married life and are engaging in fights over insignificant issues.
Recently, a husband threatened to jump off the 3rd-floor of a building after having a fight with his wife over spicy food. As reported by Ahmedabad Mirror, the incident took place in an apartment complex in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad.
A police official said,
“It was a fight between husband and the wife with the husband wanting the food to be spicier. This led to a heated exchange and the husband threatened to jump down the balcony.”
“No complaint has been filed.”
In a viral video, the husband could be seen hanging from the balcony as he is holding the railing from the outside. After some time, few people could be seen pulling him back.
