Designed by Sivalingam, the mastermind behind Chennai Silks, the saree was nothing short of a masterpiece. Its detailed thread work, beautiful pallu, and uniquely adorned blouse made it the talk of the town, stealing the spotlight at this grand event. The saree showcased 11 famous Raja Ravi Varma paintings woven into gold, silver, and platinum threads, and was adorned with diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and other Navratna stones.
But the real showstopper was the blouse, featuring an intricate and detailed painting of the Lord of Nathdwara. Known as the Vivah Pattu Saree, this masterpiece was crafted through the dedicated efforts of 35 women artisans from Kancheepuram and took more than 4760 hours to complete.
