The iconic diary scene from Kal Ho Naa Ho had an alternate version. The deleted version had Aman reading the actual words from Rohit’s diary before proceeding with the blank pages. This heart-touching scene was shot in an old-age home where Naina used to read to the elderly. Unfortunately, this entire section was chopped out of the final film!

Years after the movie’s success, Karan Johar revealed that he removed the god-bharayi scene from the film based on Aditya Chopra’s recommendation.

And, one of our favorites is the emotional exchange between Rahul and Rohan on their dad’s birthday. Rahul shows Rohan a picture of his father, not realizing that they’re actually brothers. The scene was unfortunately cut because KJo didn’t want it to overshadow the iconic bench scene that followed shortly after. Nonetheless, it’s a touching moment that showcases the bond between the two brothers and makes you wish it made it to the final cut.
