There are some really great movies that you can watch again and again, and then there are some that are no less than torture. Here are 12 such Bollywood’s worst movies that we feel were tailor-made to torture the audience rather than entertain them:
1. Aap Ka Suroor
With IMDB rating of only 2.1, this movie stars Himesh Reshammiya and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles. The movie is a weird love story that failed miserably at the box office. With so many stupid scenes (the scene where the hero meets the heroine for the first time will go down in film history as one of the stupidest scenes), torture is one word to explain the experience of watching this movie. We are sure that watching this movie will leave you extremely disappointed but if you still want to, it’s your choice.
2. Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag
Another movie on this list is Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan starrer Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag. The movie, which is rated as 1.8 on IMDB, revolves around two bodyguards, who flee to Mumbai in search of work when their old boss gets caught up in a scandal. They eventually end up with a gangster and start doing illegal work and honestly, no one knows why this film was made!
3. Thugs Of HindostanÂ
With IMDB rating of 4.1, the movie stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. The unfortunate ones, who watched the movie, would agree that it shouldn’t have been made in the first place. Though the filmmakers had created a huge hype around the film, the movie proved disaster at the box office, leading the audience disappointed. This movie is a reminder that even after a good star cast, a ship can sink if the script is poor.
4. Desh Drohi
This film stars superhuman KRK and we don’t know who is the brainchild behind the film. This super-human goes on murdering people over corruption. While pretending to be ‘Robinhood’, KRK’s film literally made no sense the way it was directed.
5. Karzzzz
Himesh Reshammiya and Urmila Matondkar’s Karzzzz is a remake of the 1980 superhit film Karz. The original film had Rishi Kapoor, Tina Ambani, and Simi Garewal and was hailed as one of the best films of the ’90s. Not only did the remake ruin the original for us, but proved to Himesh Reshammiya that even numerology and the extra ‘z’ in the title won’t save a doomed film. With IMDB rating of 2.3, this is the perfect example of how to make a movie that tortures the audience.
6. Boom
The 2003 film marked the debut of Katrina Kaif in the Indian film industry. The movie is notorious for rampant sexism and sleaziness masquerading as gangster cool. It’s surprising how the Indian censor board allowed such sexism in the movie. But even will all the titillation audience rejected the nonsensical production.
7. Himmatwala
Sajid Khan had quite a lot of himmat to recreate this film. We also wonder how strong the audience who watched it must be. The original Himmatwala had Sridevi and Jeetendra, and was a big hit in 1983. And the remake? Let’s just say it’s one movie you should never watch.Â
8. Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani
The movie had bad VFX, bad storyline, bad acting, and bad direction. Frankly, there is nothing good in this movie. With IMDB rating of 2.8, this movie deserves to be on the list of movies tailor-made to torture the audience.
9. Tees Maar Khan
Attempting to recreate the hilarious comedy, Tees Mar Khan from 1963, Farah Khan created a disaster. With the hugely popular song ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’, the movie was able to pull a few audience into the theatre. But, once in the theatre, the movie was unbearable.
10. The Legend of Drona
Starring Abhishek Bachchan & Priyanka Chopra in lead roles, the movie tanked miserably at the box office. Many critics called Drona artless, arrogant, brazenly derivative, and terribly acted by one and all!
11. Race3
A film that we wish to erase from our memory is this! Compared to Race 1 and Race 2, the third edition starring Salmaan Khan was an absolute disaster. It also starred Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Daisy Shah in unbearable roles.
12. Action Replay
Action Replay is a juvenile attempt to recreate Hollywood’s Back To The Future. After watching this movie, many were left wondering why actors like Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan signed this film. The film literally had no script and bored us to death in the name of mindless comedy.
