Without a villain, movies can be a bit boring. But some villains take their Dhokebaazi to the next level, like backstabbing, getting jealous, and even killing people for their own gain. Here are the five most Dhokebaaz characters from Bollywood movies:
1. Sophia in Race (2008)
Sophia (played by Katrina Kaif) is the sweet girl who swindles in Race (2008). She is Rajiv Singh’s (Akshaye Khanna) secret collaborator and Ranvir Singh’s (Saif Ali Khan) girlfriend. After acting sweet and loving, Sophia plans to kill her own boyfriend with his stepbrother Rajiv. This girl is the biggest dhokebaaz. Who kills their own boyfriend?
2. Karan In ‘Humraaz’ (2002)
Karan (played by Akshaye Khanna) is the most Dhokebaaz villain to have ever existed. First, he cheats Raj (Bobby Deol), a businessman, by getting Priya (Ameesha Patel), his lover, married to Raj so they can claim his wealth. However, when Priya falls in love with Raj and leaves Karan, Karan turns into a crackhead and decides to murder Priya, the love of his life. This guy goes completely nuts and is eventually killed by Raj.
3. Mahalakshmi In Khakee (2004)
The scene where Mahalakshmi (played by Aishwarya Rai) runs to Yashwant Aangre (played by Ajay Devgn) instead of Inspector Shekhar Verma (played by Akshay Kumar), left the audience and Shekhar Verma in complete shock. Many were left devastated when she shoots Shekhar, whom she pretended to love!
4. Maya In Bodyguard (2011)
Divya’s best friend, Maya (Hazel Keech) knew that Divya is Chhaya and also knew everything about Lovely and Chhaya’s love story. Later, when Divya tells Maya to meet Lovely and tell him that she is Chhaya. Maya betrays her. She tells Lovely that she is Chhaya, instead of telling him the truth, and runs away with him. Pretending to be a caring friend and then stabbing her best friend in the end. What do we call this?
5. Vikram & Neeta (Fake Sonia) In Ajnabee
This movie has so many Dhokebaaz and Dhokas that the movie’s name could have been Dhoka! Everyone thought Neeta (or fake Sonia Bajaj) (played by Bipasha Basu) died, but no she was never dead. It was all the planning of Vikram (Akshay Kumar) and Sonia to put the blame of murder on their neighbors Raj Malhotra (Bobby Deol) and Priya Malhotra (Kareena Kapoor). How Vikram & Neeta planned all this Dhokebaazi, you would feel like giving them the award for the best Dhokebaaz!
