Thanks to OTT, there are many great talented actors who are getting the opportunity they always deserved. With great shows, we are finally witnessing the great talent that our country can produce. While Bollywood may be obsessed with its A-listers and nepotism, we hope to see more of these talented actors in 2022.
1. Brijendra Kala
Even though the actor played a critical role in many Netflix series – from Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen to Aam Aadmi Family, we feel he is capable of much more. With the kind of talent he brings to the table, he deserves much bigger roles. Hope we will soon see him in a bigger role.
2. Aanchal Singh
With her performance as ‘Purva’ in Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen, Aanchal has captured the attention of many. Playing the not-so-easy character of an obsessive lover, Aanchal’s acting skills have definitely kept us hooked.
3. Shriya Pilgaonkar
Daughter of trusted actors – Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar, the 32-year-old Shriya doesn’t disappoint us with her performance in Mirzapur.
4. Neeraj Kabi
Doesn’t matter whether it was Talvar, Paatal Lok, or Sacred Games, Neeraj is an exceptional actor who always delivers the best.
5. Aadil Hussain
Be it English Vinglish, Kaminey, Life of Pi, or 2019’s Emmy-winning Delhi Crime or Mirzapur, the actor has always managed to keep us hooked with his performance.
6. Shreya Dhanwanthary
While Shreya’s stint on Family Man and Scam 1992 received a lot of love from the viewers, she has featured in a few Telugu movies prior to her OTT career as well. Her new series, Unpaused, is now streaming on Prime Video.
7. Amala Paul
Even though Amala has been a part of several Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films, Ranjish Hi Sahi happens to be her first OTT show. With this kind of talent, we hope to see her more in 2022!
